We Can Quit - Stop Smoking Programme
Have you tried to quit smoking before? Do you want support to help you quit?
We Can Quit is a free, friendly and supportive 7 week Stop Smoking programme that offers group and one-to-one support as well as free stop smoking medication.
What you need to know
- You don't have to quit smoking before you start the course - quit date is Week Three and we'll support you to prepare for that
- On Week One we'll give you an overview of the programme and start to look at preparing to quit
- Each week will include group learning and one-to-one support sessions
Be supported to make this stop your LAST stop!

We Can Quit - Peer Support Group
We are delighted to say that as a result of the We Can Quit group feedback, Bray & North Wicklow Area Partnership are now running the first We Can Quit peer support group in Ireland! The group meet once a month to chat over a cuppa and support each other on their journeys to giving up smoking for good.
You don’t need to be a non-smoker to join, but must have attended either the We Can Quit Group, the local Quit Clinic or signed up for the quit.ie Quit Plan. For more info call Karen on (01) 286 8266 / (083) 334 2590 or email karenhammond@bnwap.ie.
Smoke Free Homes Programme
This programme involves a pledge to make your home smoke-free and a weekly meet up where you learn about the benefits of a smoke-free environment and discuss your smoke-free journey. It runs for 4 weeks, there are vouchers to be won and a colouring competition so the kids can get involved!
The Smoke-Free Homes Programme is now in it second year and growing. If you or your organisation would like to commit to making your home or workspace smoke free get in touch!
We are running all these programmes as part of the Slaintecare Healthy Communities initiative in co-operation with Wicklow County Council.
