Our Social Prescribing service can support you with your health and wellbeing by connecting you with a range of services and activities in the Bray and North Wicklow community, based on your availability, needs and preferences.
The Social Prescribing team will chat to you about your current needs and interests and will support you to connect with appropriate groups, activities and support. The service is open to anyone living in the Bray and North Wicklow area. Please watch pour video below to learn more about the service and what we offer.
Who is Social Prescribing for?
Social Prescribing is open to anyone who feels they need support with their health & wellbeing, especially if you:
- Would like more social contact
- Would like to improve your emotional wellbeing (e.g. low mood, anxiety)
- Have a long term health condition
- Are new in the community
- Are going through life changing events such as: pregnancy, birth, retirement, bereavement, loss of employment
- Feel socially isolated or lonely
